The Tiny Story of a Doctor and an Encounter with her Rival

A doctor by the name of Angelina Snow was taking a walk in the woods. The forest was rather small, being perched on the top of a rather small cliff, their roots contending with the rocks for the best spot to sit. The cliff was just big enough to have a short waterfall flowing from the top to land with a thunderous crash in a deep, blue-grey pool at the bottom.

As Angelina was strolling along, hands in her pockets, humming a tune here, whistling a song there, and just enjoying a rare getaway from the busy life of a city doctor, she was unaware that she was being followed. A rival doctor, Marian Lucas, wanted Angelina gone. When

Marian learned of Angelina's planned excursion to the forest, she decided it was the perfect chance to get rid of her.

Angelina soon arrived at the aforementioned waterfall, and was carefully wading along the top of it when Marian jumped out of the woods and confronted her.

"You know, I've been waiting for a chance to shove you over a waterfall for a really long time, now, my Angel." Marian sneered as she advanced towards Angelina, .

"Marian! Stop!" She stepped back, coming to the edge of the rocks, the current threatening to push her over the edge at any second.

"Sto-op!" Marian mocked her.

"Marian, there is something very wrong with your brain," Angelina said, teetering on the edge and trying to keep her balance.

"Oh, no, there's something wrong with your brain! You're too smart!!!" With this, Marian lunged forward and shoved Angelina over the edge!

"You'll be sorry!" yelled the good doctor as she tumbled down the waterfall.

Marian wasn't very bright. As a matter of fact, everyone wondered how she made it through med-school in the first place. She didn't realize that the pool at the bottom of the cascade was deep enough that, if Angelina fell correctly, she would not be injured.

Angelina landed safely, swam to the edge of the pool, and took off running down the path to where her car was parked.

Marian was sorry. When Angelina told her superiors what had happened, they fired Marian, who was punished for attempted murder.

The End.
